Subhankar Pal

Subhankar Pal is a Senior Director and Global Innovation leader for Capgemini Engineering’s Intelligent Networks program. He has over 23 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. His responsibilities include technology product incubation, product strategy and roadmap development, along with consulting and service offer definition for telecommunications and related markets. His interests include autonomous networks, optimization and sustainability using cloud native principles, and machine learning for 5G networks and beyond.

Sandip Sarkar

Sandip Sarkar graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India with a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, and is currently Capgemini’s 5G/6G strategy lead. Previously, he was the CTO of Sesovera, an edge-based AI and machine learning platform company. Before that, Sandip was a Senior Director at Qualcomm, the worldwide lead for 5G/LTE and the technical lead for the Qualcomm Engineering Simulation Tool (QUEST™). Sandip was elected as a senior member of the IEEE in 2003. He holds more than 300 worldwide patents. He has also authored and published more than 30 technical papers in various IEEE and other technical journals. Sandip’s name has appeared in “Marquis Who’s Who in America” since 2006.

José Soriano

José Soriano has more than 16 years’ telecommunications experience. He joined Capgemini Engineering in 2006, first as a VoIP and IMS expert, before moving to cutting edge technologies in each Telco wave. José previously worked at a tier-1 telco operator, covering its global M2M, UC and NFV networks for verticals and managing a team of more than 50 engineers. Today he works on technology strategy projects for Capgemini customers, defining technology trends and plans for years to come. José is currently focused in 5G and 6G, leading state of the art projects for customers, as well as internal R&D projects within the European framework for 5G and 6G SNS programs. He is also involved with the 5TONIC multi-vertical lab in 5G, EDGE and 6G programs. José holds a Masters degree in Engineering from the Universidad de Sevilla and is certified as a 5G and NFV specialist by UC3M in Madrid.
